A simple north-facing skylight system integrated into the home's covered deck captures optimal winter sun angles for the Mittagong climate. This floods the kitchen with beautiful winter light, creating warm and inviting spaces throughout the coldest months, and naturally lifting the spirits during cold Southern Highland winters. 

This skylight allows winter sun to reach deep into the footprint of the home, bringing light and warmth as it washes over the floorboards and the benchtops.
